1. The bride
either emails me a link to her bridesmaid dress or brings me a swatch
in person to Eastern Market.
2. Preferably
in person, together we come up with a design that is within the bride's
price range, color scheme and taste. If meeting in person is not possible,
the bride reviews the hundreds of design examples on my website and
archive pages to see if there is a design that matches what she had
in mind. We can then adapt that design to her color scheme.
3. Once the design
and price is agreed upon, I ask the bride to agree to Lilypad's Terms
and Conditions stated below and make a deposit equal to 50% of the
order's total. I also ask for the approximate height and dress size
of each bridesmaid so that I can size each necklace appropriately.
4. At this point
I go to work and create one of the necklaces in the set. When it is
finished, (usually within a week or two depending on whether custom
materials need to be ordered) I email a photo of the finished design
for the bride's approval. Minor design tweaks and changes can be made
at this point.
5. Once the bride
approves the design, I go ahead and create the rest of the order.
6. When the order
is finished I let the bride know and she can either pick it up from
me in person at Eastern Market or I can mail it depending on the bride's
preference. The remaining 50% of the order's total is paid upon shipping/pickup
in whatever method is most convenient.
